Dubbed as the ‘Seafood Capital of the World’, Panama City Beach undoubtedly has plenty to offer to seafood lovers. Devour the freshest and finest of seafood dishes at the various restaurants that are scattered on the beaches. However, with more than 100 eateries, seafood is not the only option as the restaurants serve a variety of cuisines ranging from French, Italian, Spanish and Mexican to typically American grub.

Repeatedly voted as one of Florida’s top ten restaurants, a visit to the Captain Anderson’s Restaurant is a must, which is known for its seafood and steak platters. Located at the docks, this place offers the freshest and the most delicious of lobsters in town. Another must visit restaurant is the Boar’s Head Restaurant that serves some of the most delectable steaks accompanied by an award winning wine list. Besides being greatly appreciated for churning out some of the finest dishes, this restaurant is also a local attraction because of sporting an elegant and a charming ambience of typically an old English restaurant. The Boar’s Head Restaurant is open nightly for dinners.

Billy Oyster’s Bar and Crab House and Montego Bay Seafood House are also popular eateries for fresh seafood such as oysters, crabs, lobsters, flounders and groupers. Montego Bay Seafood House features award-winning gumbos and steaks in a relaxed beach setting. Both the restaurants are open daily for lunch and dinner. Imagine dining in an unusual setting such as on the full scale replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind, wouldn’t be a wonderful experience. Well, The Treasure Ship offers you the unique chance to enjoy an extensive menu of fresh Gulf seafood while you marvel at an array of unusual souvenirs and gifts and charter fishing boats. If you have had enough of seafood and are just longing to have a really good burger, all you need to do is head to Flamingo Joe's that serves some of the best burgers and sandwiches on the beach. While you are at your burger, don’t forget to try their salsa which is made from a 100 year old recipe.

Unless and until you are a little kid or really old to party, no one sleeps early in Panama City Beach as the beaches come alive with music and fun one the sun sets down. There’s so much to look forward to as live bands, Vegas-style revues and celebrity impersonators get on the stage to create a magical uproar of fun and entertainment. Take advantage of all the drink specials available at the various bars and clubs and dance away the night to groovy numbers. Don’t forget to check out Club La Vela which has over 12 differently themed rooms to choose from. Considered one of the largest nightclubs in the U.S., this club features all kinds of music you can think of such as disco, techno to rap and heavy metal. One of its themed rooms is called the ‘Foam’ as thousands of gallons of foam surround people while they party on the floor. For a laidback bar scene and excellent music head to The Boatyard, situated on the Great Lagoon marina or Schooner’s is also a good option, which has live bands playing reggae, rock and R&B and often sees its visitors dancing on the tables before the night ends.
