| Boca Raton is a gourmet's paradise, with

downtown, offering an extraordinary range of dining options

favorites.
You can sample a diverse selection of
cuisines in waterfront eateries or opt for fine dining at any
one of Boca Raton's elite restaurants. One of the best
restaurants is La Vieille Maison, which has been serving
French cuisine in Boca for over 25 years now. Fine dining in
Boca and environs is expensive, but there are more economic
options in the food court at the Town Center Mall or at
adjacent Delray Beach. Do not miss the great oyster bars that
serve microbrew beers and wonderful seafood.
Mizner Park is more or less the focal point
of fine dining and nightlife in Boca Raton. Evening activity revolves around leisurely dining or
sipping cocktails in stylish bars like Gigi's Tavern. You can
spend the night at a nightclub playing live music or drink
with buddies at the city’s various taverns and pubs.
If the performing arts are more to your
taste, catch a performance of the Florida Symphonic Pops - a
70-piece professional orchestra. Or, watch a production at the
Caldwell Theater in North Boca Raton. The Caldwell Theatre
Company offers several productions a season for those
interested in the arts. Performances are Tuesday through
Saturday at 8 PM, with select Sunday performances at 7 PM.

Boca's Town Center Mall, with its 7 large brand name

The more artsy community of Delray Beach, known by many as
Pineapple Grove, is situated along Atlantic Avenue, east of
Swinton Avenue, where you'll find a few specialty shops and
galleries in a scenic setting. Downtown Boca, near the Federal

of southeast Florida, characterized by pleasant winter months
with hot and humid summer months. Summer temperatures range
from the mid-70ºs to the low 90ºs, though cool breezes keep it
comfortable even when it is hot. Winter temperatures stay
between 57º F and 77º F. Boca Raton does see hurricanes from
late August through November, but ample warning is always
given. Winter is the high season in Boca Raton. It would be wise
to visit in summer if you want a quieter vacation. The fall is
