The Girdwood Suite Retreat has some very unique and special features: - The house is located on 0.6 acres surrounded by old growth forest and is one of the largest parcels of land close to the base of the resort. - The home was constructed in 2001 by EECC, one of the top custom home builders in Alaska. It is a 3000 square foot house designed to be open and comfortable. - It has one of the largest private outdoor decks in Girdwood with a covered hot tub with a view of the Alyeska tram and the ski resort. The features of the house include four bedrooms, loft area, 2 1/2 baths, making a total of 5 sleeping areas that accommodate 10 people comfortably. Girdwood is the ideal base-camp for your Alaska vacation, centrally located to some of the best fishing in Alaska and only 20 miles north of Whittier and Portage, the launching point for glacier and marine tours and Prince William Sound.
